Wayne Coleman

Wayne Coleman is the founder and CEO of The Royalty Compliance Organization.  Wayne has 33 years of experience as respected financial advisor on many large acquisitions examinations, complex royalty audits, and catalog valuations.  He has served as managing director of audits in several accounting firms including Touche Ross & Co, Gelfand Rennert & Feldman, and Moss Adams.  As the lead auditor at RCO, Wayne provides financial consulting, business valuations, royalty examines and litigation support in hundreds of audits around the globe.  

Wayne holds a bachelors degree from Mississippi State University and has an honorary doctorate from Missouri Valley College.  He is a licensed CPA in California, Tennessee and Missouri and speaks on many industry panels and lectures at prominent universities on the current trends in royalty auditing.

Darla Crain

Chief Operations Officer

Darla Crain manages the data analysis operations within RCO departments performing business valuations, license examinations, and audit/litigation support services.   Darla perfected her data analysis skills over 18 years as a successful aerospace engineering at McDonnell Douglas and 3C Fatigue Engineering.

Darla holds a graduate degree at University of Missouri with a bachelors of science in Aerospace Engineering and masters in business administration. 

Nancy Collier

Manager, Information Technology

Nancy Collier manages the professional services team within RCO.  She is a technical trainer and database analyst interfacing to many clients IT departments on large RCO projects. Nancy has 24 years of Information Technology experience as Systems Analyst, Programmer, Database Administrator, Project Manager at McDonnell Douglas and Edward Jones. 

Nancy earned a bachelors degree in Management and Marketing from Missouri State University and master’s degree in Management Information Sciences from University of Missouri.

Strategic Partners

Harlan Hallett has been involved in providing accounting services for over 30 years in various capacities. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Southern California in 1975.  His 30 plus years of professional experience started at Gelfand Rennert and Feldman, a national accounting firm specializing in the entertainment industry. Over the next 13 years, he held various positions starting as a staff accountant, with the last 7 years a partner of the firm. For the past 10 years he has specialized in royalty examinations, working in various capacities as an independent contractor/consultant in the entertainment and auditing field.  In 2004 Harlan formed Hallett and Associates, LLC.

Software Systems Consultant

Marty is the president of Dependable Solutions, a third party developer of licensing contract management and royalty solutions in Los Angeles, California.  He has successfully automated over 300 licensors and licensees over the past 15 years at Right Track Solutions and PLX Systems where he built an industry leading royalty and licensing software organization targeting music and video licensors and licensees.  Marty coordinates sales efforts for RCO in the LA markets.

Marty earned a bachelors degree in Economics Systems Science from UCLA.  He speaks at industry forums on the benefits and issues involved in licensing back-office systems.

International Auditing Manager

Bryan is our international affiliate.  Mr. Graham has many years of auditing experience.   Bryan provides audit support services on large RCO client projects including the analysis of financial statements.   He also provides field audit support as a RCO compliance auditor as an integral part of the royalty audit team.  Bryan provides financial consulting, business valuations, royalty examines and litigation support in hundreds of audits around the globe.
